Global Group's Printing department is equipped with the latest technology for the support and production of the combined efforts of its other departments.

Since 1971 we have excelled in the printing industry through our growth in highly skilled and dedicated press operators and, above all, growth in technology.

Our sheet-fed printing department offers a variety of press sizes and capabilities, from single to multi-color, with added benefits like aqueous coating and perfecting. Sheet sizes and stock capabilities vary from 8 ½" x 11" to the larger 28" x 40" format.

Our presses run around the clock in order to meet the growing demands of our customers' printing and publishing needs.

Well-planned and designed promotional literature is a vital part of an effective marketing strategy and, no matter what your product or service, our experience can be to your benefit.

Our Publications department offers all the necessary support for the production of manuscripts and technical manuals through desktop publishing and technical writing.

We specialize in military specification, aerospace, and general commercial accounts. Whether it is 2,000 pages or just one, our professional staff of writers, typesetters, editors, artists, and proofreaders can produce the job.

The Publications department is PC and Mac proficient, running a variety of programs. It does not matter what form of data we receive, raw engineering drawings, handwritten manuscript, or a disk, you can be assured of efficient, accurate results.

Electronic Prepress

The quality achieved from a digital file is unsurpassed when combined with the expertise of our skilled craftsmen and the innovative equipment available here at Global Group. We work with the very latest technology Prepress equipment, making it possible for us to provide our customer with very best quality print images possible today. We already proceed directly to plate from your expertly prepared digital file, and we will continue to expand our capabilities as technology advances.

Our full line of services includes: scanning, computer imagery, film output (CTF), color proofing on the Fuji color-proofing system, and high-end digital color-proofing system. Our large Digital Prepress department is well equipped to handle your needs and has been in operation since the late 1980s.

The new technology of today is sometimes difficult to comprehend. Part of the service we are proud to provide is helping our customers deal with all the confusion. We are eager to share our knowledge in an effort to promote our services and to achieve more efficient, computer-generated projects.

Our lines of communication are always open and your feedback is always welcome.

Internet connectivity gives us the capability to provide our customers the ability to transmit files (FTP) directly to us. This saves time and money and can expedite the delivery of your printing.

Finishing and Bindery

The final leg of every project is our finishing process; bindery, packaging fulfillment, and shipping.

The Bindery department is so complete we offer services to other printers (such as our own perfect binder) that are not available in their own plants.

Working three shifts allows us to put the finishing touches on projects without delays to the delivery schedule.

All finished projects are carefully inspected and packaged according to your requirements. They are delivered with one of our own delivery vans, or prepared for shipment to anywhere in the world.

Fulfillment/ Mailing

We have a secure fulfillment facility that coordinates several different kinds of managed inventory activities for our clients.

Pick & pack services, where we print and store usually a 90-day supply of repeat items that go around the county to our clients' various offices/facilities/training courses on an as-ordered basis. This service allows for issuing reprints when the reorder point is reached but allows for printing in larger quantities to reduce overall unit costs. The service is designed to never run out of critical items but still remain flexible to allow changes.
Kitting to point-of-presence locations. This service allows for incoming materials to be organized by kit into a finished group of items that can be shipped by various couriers to our clients' various offices/facilities/training courses on an as-needed basis. Our clients love that this service allows them to reduce overall shipping costs through better organization and flexible shipping times.
Fulfillment for printing items that can be stored over time and used at a later point. This service allows large volume printing, like for covers or pocket folders, where the internal contents may change dramatically. Higher volume printing with storage allows for a reduction in overall unit costs.
Mailing services including variable data processing, postage report preparation, and mail processing utilizing a 6-station jumbo inserter with inline tabber, ink jetter, and Lake Image System single camera match mailing system.

Media Asset Management

Global Group offers digital asset management, a cross-platform system and internet-based solution designed to organize, track, retrieve, and store all digital files from client-specific databases for print and multimedia. Our management system is fully customizable to your corporate nomenclature for data identification.

Powerful, multifunctional search tools provide a high-quality thumbnail view or tabular text report of your valuable, cataloged information. To safeguard your company's digital assets, customized databases are security protected with passwords and/ or watermarks. These files can be made available, if desired, via the internet to your authorized parties for interdepartmental or syndicated communications, file sharing and data warehousing.

We can catalog, store, and retrieve digital information such as logos, photographs, illustration, digital sounds and movie clips, web files, text files–and more–allowing you to efficiently copy and reuse, modify, update, or share all your media assets in various projects.

Digital Asset Management can be tied to digital printing from web-based transaction and tracking systems that link directly to our customer's desktop.

Shipping and Delivery

Global Group carefully inspects and packages all jobs before they leave the facility according to each individual client's specifications. They are then prepared for shipment via our in-house mailing system, one of Global's own trucks, other national shipping carriers, or for customer pick-up.

Technical Writing

With over 40 technical writing personnel, GGI is uniquely positioned to apply its vast experience using writing specialists, editors, proofreaders, illustrators, input operators, and final layout personnel. We have the expertise to produce simple, one-page handouts to multi-paged manuals, depending upon your company's requirements.
